Located on Dennis Cove Rd, Hampton, TN, just .4 of a mile off the AT, the Black Bear Resort borders Laurel Creek, with beautiful rhododendron bushes and a well-manicured lawn. This family-run business is welcoming and peaceful, the perfect place to spend a rainy day! We rented a creek side basement apartment, and enjoyed bedroom, living room, private bath, and well-arranged kitchenette.
With only a land line telephone and no wi-fi, this resort truly encourages one to rest, relax, sleep, and/or visit with others at the comfortable porches and picnic tables. If a person would like a quiet place to stay, adjacent to a fabulous day hike, come here!
